The Rose Petal "Problem"

Aaron and I have this neighbor named Lou, who I've probably told you about. He is the sweetest man in the world but before we lived here, a jerk lived here and Lou had to constantly work to make sure they stayed separated. Before he built the fence, he planted a rose bush to make it grow up the side of his bedroom window so that the light of the neighbor's truck wouldn't keep them up all night. (The neighbor would sleep in his truck and leave the lights of his truck going.)

Well, this bush now looks like this:

Anyway, it is beautiful. I love it in June and July when it is in full bloom. When the flowers die, our driveway looks like this:
So basically, Aaron and I walk outside...and our driveway is hitting on us. Our neighbor's could think that Aaron and I are planning some romantic escapades ON OUR DRIVEWAY!


So yeah...we love looking at the roses and we...don't really know how we feel about the rose petals laid along the driveway look. One thing is for sure...our neighbors would not like it if we took our driveway up on its offer. :)
