Aaron and I took our little ones to the dog park on Saturday for the first time this summer. We thought that it would be a fun Saturday activities since we all usually enjoy the dog park. We didn't think about what all the rain had done to the park.
There is a river that runs right next to the park and at one point after all the rain we have been getting, the river went through the park.
The parts that weren't totally flooded, couldn't be mowed down since they couldn't get something in there to mow, so that rest of the park looked like this.
Needless to say, the dogs were thrilled! They loved the chase to run around in mud and wild flowers. Sniffing everything that they can get a chance to sniff.
Isn't this a great picture of Pippen? His little head turned all curious while he is standing next to Aaron. He is such a good sweet dog....and this was his Disneyland.
They got tired out while we were there, which is why any parent takes their little ones to a park so mission accomplished. Even if everything was crazy over grown and soggy.
No dog seemed to mind. They always seem to be up for anything.
