Nope...
It was the heater. They don't want to be outside dogs...they don't even want to be "sheltered but kind of roughing it" dogs.

Maybe they did love and miss their humans. I couldn't believe that Pippen chose to cuddle up and rest on my lap. He must have really missed us.
