Cub Scouts: Knots

Today we worked on knots. I hear that this is the best parts of scouts (sarcasm...I hear it is awful). To make it fun, we made the kids build a tent.

First Aaron had them practice 3 different knots.

The Square Knot:

Yup, all of those were tied by me...because I'm amazing. Also, I think we taught the boys as well.

Once we got done, we forced the boys to build us a dining fly.

Aaron might have helped them a little. And now Aaron and I have somewhere to live if the economy gets any worse.
